Lead Metering and Delivery System
The system meters the quantity of lead delivery to the pouring ladle, in the exact amount necessary for each pour. Overflow and return of excess metal to the pot are thus avoided.
The feed of lead is controlled by dosing valve, mounted on the outlet of the rotary pump and synchronized with the casting machine. The feedline is insulated and electrically heated, under control of a thermostat, to boost the temperature of the lead.
The lead metering and delivery system is a standard application on all the casting machines.
